SYNTAX:  brief

The 'brief' command allows you to shorten what you see as you walk
from room to room.  Normal 'verbose' mode will show you the long
description of a room, and any monsters, players, and/or objects
in it, whereas 'brief' mode will yield only a one-line description
of the room, the various exits, and any monsters, players, and/or
objects in it.  Typing 'brief' a second time will restore the long
descriptions.

Be careful when exploring new areas in brief mode, you will most
likely miss many interesting things.
